The NCC is one of the premier youth organizations in our country, contributed in propagating national unity and integrity amongst the youth. Its role in instilling the values of character, discipline and hard work in the youth along with shaping them into dynamic and responsible citizens of the country has been well recognised. Thus, NCC has played an important role in the all-round development of the youth of our country and in grooming future leaders in all fields. The well-designed curriculum of NCC consisting of both theory and practical classes relating to the Military and Non-military subjects, adventure training, cultural and social activities etc. is of immense value to the NCC cadets both boys and girls.

Keeping all these positive things in view, the NCC unit of Dhing College was established under the 8 Assam Battalion NCC, Nagaon many years ago. The Dhing College NCC unit has total strength of 50 cadets combining both boys and girls. Our College has good reputation in 8 Assam BN NCC as several cadets have participated in different All India level as well as State level camps including Republic Day camp. Locally our cadets have regularly participated in the centrally organized Republic Day and Independence Day celebration at Dhing Revenue Circle office campus.
